Pour baking soda and hot water into a container and immerse your jewelry in it.

Soak for 5 to 10 minutes then using a toothbrush with soft bristles, gently rub your jewel so as not to scratch it. Rinse with water and dry with a soft cloth.

You can also use toothpaste and gently rub your jewelry with a soft cloth or a very soft toothbrush.

Then rinse and dry the jewel with a chamoisine.
